- You catch more flies with shit than you do with honey.
- Violence: A form of authority which leaves marks.
- The world does not so much reward incompetence as worship it.
- Mindless tedium is better than mindless terror.
- Moral indignation: Denial of responsibility.
- One's self-control is greater the less self one has to control.
- A good reputation is worth having if not deserving.
- Never do anything stupid out of desperation. Only do something stupid after careful deliberation.
- We have the choice of living in a moral wasteland or a moral wonderland.
- To understand someone, find out who their enemies are.
- Noble enterprises are appropriate for the noble.
- Those who can't remember last week are condemned to repeat it.
- We believe we are cunning when we are merely nasty.
- In the country of the idiots, the biggest fucking idiot is king.
