Math minus Mozart There's a proposition
often uttered by fanatics,
that listening to Mozart
boosts performance in mathematics.Mozart's work is intricate
and many people love it,
but here is how to boost your math:
do more of it.Outlier's Lament With some of us,
it takes some nerve
to place us on
the normal curve.Normalcy seems
so remote
way out here on
the asymptote.Berth It's just the same for everyone,
it will not do to panic –but being born is very much
like boarding the Titanic.
